Our Commitment

Level Up Lifts is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all of our users.

Conformance Status

Level Up Lifts strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG guidelines are internationally recognized standards for web accessibility, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Current Status: Partially Conformant

"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

  • Color Contrast: WCAG AA compliant color contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)

  • No Color-Only Communication: Information is not conveyed by color alone

  • Logical Tab Order: Tab navigation follows a logical and intuitive order
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: Standard shortcuts (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys) work as expected
  • No Keyboard Traps: Users can always navigate away from any element

Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic HTML: Proper use of headings, lists, and landmarks
  • ARIA Labels: Descriptive labels for interactive elements and dynamic content
  • Alternative Text: All images include descriptive alt text
  • Live Regions: Dynamic content changes are announced to screen readers

Form Accessibility

  • Clear Labels: All form fields have descriptive, visible labels
  • Error Identification: Validation errors are clearly identified and described

  • Touch Target Size: Interactive elements are at least 44x44 pixels
  • Responsive Design: Layout adapts to different screen sizes

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:

  • Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible - we are working on remediation
  • Complex data visualizations may require additional screen reader descriptions
  • Third-party integrations may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards
  • Some legacy features are in the process of being updated for better accessibility
